Flowers Family
Friday, May 08, 2009 | Families

Last week I met up with Sandy and Lang at their family farm to get some photos of their family.  We had beautiful scenery to work with and started out by a pond.

Langdon is such a great big brother and did a good job holding little sister Audrey.

Then we took a little swing break before heading over to another part of the farm.

Next we did a little quail hunting.  ha

By the shooting range...

The light was becoming so pretty in this next shot.  Check out Audrey just chillin' out.

What a great looking couple - no wonder they have such beautiful children!

Sandy is not only gorgeous - but so funny.  (Sandy - I'm still laughing at your crazy self and the biz idea the other night.)

Audrey is pretty, sweet, and perfect!

Hanging with the parents...   :)

I'm sure Langdon and Bradshaw will keep a close watch over her as she grows up!

Wiped out afer a long day of modeling...

Bradshaw is just a bundle of cuteness.

Even though he isn't smiling - I love the next one.

Checking out his cute little dirty feet at the end of the night!

Langdon started out with a little pouting, and I love this shot...

I love the image of him in front of the stone too...

What a cutie...

We start early down here in the county...  ha

Brothers...

I hope to see you all again soon!  :)

Family Portrait Session: Florida
Friday, December 19, 2008 | Families

Earlier this week I drove about an hour or so down to Florida for a session with the Perfect Family.  Okay, so obviously that isn't their real name - but they are pretty perfect.  I knew Todd, but it was my first time meeting the rest of the crew.

Their family goes all out for the holidays with beautiful decorating...

Lyndsey just recently began piano lessons, but she is a natural because you would think she has been taking for a long time.

Hailey doesn't play the piano - she plays the radio like her dad.  :)

Both Lyndsey and Hailey are amazing girls!

They sure do love their parents!

A few family shots out on the dock...

Todd and Krista were high school sweethearts!

Krista is so pretty and sweet too.  (I told you they were perfect.)

We took a few more family shots before I left...

And they are lucky that they still have Rusty.  He is so cute that I wanted to bring him home with me!

It was fun hanging out with all of you - I will see you soon in Orlando!

Amy Clifton: These ARE "perfect." I love the series on the dock, especially the family laughing together. Love the shot of the older daughter in front of the stone wall and the younger one on the steps--those are beautiful. Did you get some new lenses? Looks like a 1.4? (12/20/08, 08:12)

Family Portrait Session: Drexel Park
Saturday, December 06, 2008 | Families

I am so glad that I was able to squeeze in a portrait session for Sarah's family.  We got together the day after Thanksgiving (which was only a few hours after I returned from my vacation in Europe), and I couldn't help but be a little worried that my flight might be delayed or something.  The rain also held off just until the end of our session.

They might look like a really sweet family, but don't let them fool you.  All it takes is to slip up and say one silly thing - and then you can forget it!

Okay...so I am totally kidding.  They really were nice - and fun too.  At the shoot, my brain was a little fuzzy from train rides and plane rides and car rides and lack of sleep.  I don't know about you, but the mother below looks very happy to be spending time with her children.  (ha - a little inside joke)

The grandchildren...

Elliott is such a cutie!

I love this one...

Random family photos...

This is Sarah - the CEO of the family portrait session.

A couple more Christmas postcard ideas...

It was so great spending time with you all!  I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2009!  :)

Carter Family: Christmas Photos
Monday, October 27, 2008 | Families

Yesterday I photographed the Carter family.  I have to say that they were perfect and made the session way too easy!

Seriously...they just fell into place effortlessly.

I think this is my favorite family portrait...

Even Buddy - their super cute dog - cooperated!

Amy and Doug...

Mary Alex and Davis:

Sweet...

Fun...

Doug and Davis...

Davis is such a cutie...

Check out his new motocross bike...

Mary Alex is so pretty - I love her eyes!

Playing the piano quickly before heading out to see HSM3...

And just for fun - I wanted to show off two new Christmas card designs.  Amy and Doug actually have other plans for cards so these designs are up for grabs.  (I only use a design once so you don't have to worry about someone else having the same card.)

FIRST CARD DESIGN...

(It seems a little to be hearing Christmas music, but the holidays will be here before we know it.  Since this was a session for Christmas images - I decided to use Christmas music for their slideshow so they can share it with friends and family during the holidays.)

Freddie Taylor
Tuesday, September 09, 2008 | Families

I had the pleasure of photographing Freddie Taylor and his family at their lovely home in the country.  Mr. Taylor is running for Lowndes County Sheriff and needed some photos for campaign purposes.

We started with family photos.  They were very easy to photograph, and their super cute grandchildren were perfect.

Then I got a few shots of Mr. Taylor...

As I have said before...I love elections - campaigns and everything surrounding them.  There is something empowering and patriotic about casting my ballot.  Big election years are even better.

I hope all of you will vote this year - it is a great way that you can honor those that fought so hard for our voting rights.  One vote can make a difference!  And besides - you get to run around town with that fabulous "I voted" sticker all day!  There's nothing more fun than a sticker, right?  :D

Let me tell you more about Freddie Taylor in case you live in Lowndes County.

He retired from the Georgia State Patrol with the rank of Major after 32 years of service.  He also served as Deputy Battalion Commander for the 2004 G8 Summit.  His resume is quite impressive!

He pledges to:
-Provide citizens with the most advanced, effective and ethical law enforcement while fighting crime.
-Establish focus groups to obtain citizen feedback on crime concerns and methods of improving service.
-Involve the Sheriff's Office with community based organizations and other government entities to offer support where possible.
-Improve interaction with all public safety agencies to provide the most effective services to citizens.

If you would like more information on Freddie Taylor, feel free to contact him at freddietylr@yahoo.com.  I am sure that he would be happy to answer any questions that you may have - or hook you up with some brochures or yard signs if you would like them.

A note to all of my loyal blog readers...I have been super busy over the last week and a half and have lots to blog.  Here is a look at what is coming up:
